We're expanding our team and looking for a skilled and motivated Renderer to join us.
The Role
GreenSideUp Landscapes is looking for an experienced Renderer to join our team. Your finish work is the last - and often most noticed - layer on some of Brisbane's most impressive outdoor builds, and we need someone who takes that responsibility seriously.
You'll apply cement, acrylic and speciality renders to feature walls, planter boxes, columns, formed concrete elements and architectural outdoor structures across our large-scale residential projects. A smooth, hard-wearing, well-executed render finish is one of the things our clients notice first - and remember. Outside of rendering, you'll be an active part of the construction crew, contributing to the full scope of hard and softscape landscape work that goes into each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix and apply cement and acrylic renders to outdoor walls, masonry structures, formed concrete elements and architectural features
- Achieve smooth, level, consistent and durable finishes to design specifications
- Correctly prepare and prime substrates - masonry, block, concrete and fibre cement
- Apply texture and colour renders where specified
- Contribute actively to large-scale hard and softscape landscape construction projects alongside the crew
- Work safely, maintaining clean and compliant sites at all times
About You
You're proud of your finish work. You're patient, methodical and you understand that the quality of a render is measured by how flat, how hard and how clean it looks - not just on day one, but for years to come.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in external rendering — cement and/or acrylic
- Ability to produce smooth, consistent render finishes to a high standard
- Experience with substrate preparation and priming
- Reliable, detail-oriented and team-focused
- White Card
- Current driver's licence and work-appropriate vehicle
- Australian work rights required
Highly Regarded
- Trade qualification in Plastering / Rendering
- Experience rendering in residential or outdoor construction environments
- Ability to apply texture or feature render finishes
- Blocklaying experience (pairs very well with this role)
