Role Overview
GreenSideUp Landscapes is seeking an experienced, driven and genuinely skilled Landscape Construction Foreman to take full ownership of site delivery across our large-scale, high-end residential projects throughout Brisbane and the South-East Queensland region.
This isn't a babysitting role. It's a leadership position with real autonomy, real responsibility and real scope. You'll be given a well-designed project, a capable crew and the systems to back you up - and it'll be on you to bring it all together and deliver a result that makes the client's jaw drop. If you're the kind of tradesperson who has been quietly running the show from the background and is ready for the title to match - this is it.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of construction sites from mobilisation through to practical completion
- Lead, manage and mentor site crews - fostering a high-performance, high-morale team environment
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, material deliveries and site logistics
- Read and interpret construction plans, set-outs and detailed design drawings
- Ensure all works are delivered to program, budget, quality and safety standards
- Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues before they become problems
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Project Managers, office staff and clients
- Enforce WHS systems, site compliance and safe work practices without exception
- Maintain exemplary site presentation at all times - it reflects who we are
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience in landscape construction at Foreman or Senior Supervisor level
- Trade qualification in Landscaping, Concreting or a related construction discipline
- Proven experience delivering large-scale or high-end residential landscape projects
- Strong crew leadership and people management capability
- Ability to read plans and manage set-out with confidence
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of WHS obligations and site safety requirements
- White Card
- Current driver's licence and work-appropriate vehicle
- Australian work rights required
Highly Regarded
- Plant or machinery tickets
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously
- Client-facing communication experience
- Cert IV or higher in Construction, Supervision or Leadership
