About the Role

GreenSideUp Landscapes is seeking a motivated Landscape Construction Apprentice to join our growing construction team, delivering high-quality residential landscape projects across the greater Brisbane area.

This role is suited to someone looking to complete a formal apprenticeship in landscape construction while gaining hands-on experience on structured, well-organised sites. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors and receive on-the-job training across a wide range of landscape construction works.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of landscape construction works under supervision
Manual handling, site preparation, and material movement
Use of hand and power tools (training provided)
Assist with hardscape works including paving, retaining walls, and other constructed elements
Support softscape works such as soil preparation and planting
Site clean-up and maintaining a safe, tidy work environment
Follow instructions from Foremen and Supervisors
Adhere to WHS systems and safe work practices at all times

About You

You are reliable, motivated, and committed to learning a trade. You take pride in your work, turn up prepared, and are keen to develop practical skills within a professional construction environment.

Essential Requirements

Genuine interest in completing a landscape construction apprenticeship

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to perform physically demanding work

Willingness to learn and take direction

Current driver’s licence and reliable, work-appropriate vehicle

Highly Regarded

Any prior experience in landscaping, construction, or labouring

Currently enrolled in, or willing to enrol in, a landscape construction apprenticeship

Plant or machinery tickets (or willingness to obtain them)
